Citric acid is one of the most common acids in plants. Lemon juice contains 5-7%. This product is found both in the food industry and in cosmetics. Citric Acid holds a place of choice in all homes for cleaning, descaling and more. It is especially helpful for descaling household appliances and removing limescale from bathrooms and toilets.
Use: For faucets and showerheads: Mix 2 to 5 tablespoons of citric acid with water and make a thin paste. Rub the areas attacked by limestone with this solution and leave to act before rinsing. For smaller objects, you can soak them in this solution for half a day, then rinse.
